Hmm..usually the tear stains get better with a raw diet. I don't know
The only thing I can think of is that bacteria is building up faster. Tear stains are normally from constant tearing of the eyes which keep the hair moist and allow bacteria and fungi to grow...causing a red stain. So maybe it has to do with that. I've heard a little apple cider vinegar can help with tear stains too. I'd also just keep the eyes cleaned 1-2 times a day
