Hi, I just read this and felt very sad. You cannot fix lp with an oral medicine. I would not give your baby this med, it will not keep the knee from popping out of place. Plus you give meds for one thing and then there are side effects to other organs in the body. Like the other yter said, get another vet. LP cannot be repaired with tape. The ligaments are loose around the knee cap and it is sliding out of place. In most cases this can only be repaired with surgery. I was reading that if left unattended this can then damage the hips, the dog can end up walking bow legged.
Please get another opinion.
