Lulu's coat was something else...very wiry feeling. Even after her puppy hair had grown out. I use Minksheen and I have to tell you it's the best. Her coat is just beautiful now. We also have the added of the citronella being a natural bug repellant. The first time I used the sample (email them they will send you a free sample super fast) I wan't all that happy because the shampoo's smell was a bit strong for me. But someone recommended I give it another shot and I figured why not I had some left of the sample. When you get the bottle it says to shake well before use...the first time I didnt' but the second time I did. I was much happier the second time. I guess since I hadn't shaken it well the first time I got a higher concentration of the citronella oil and that can sure be a bit strong.
I have to tell you it's a great shampoo and I don't use anything else on her now. Her coat is fabulous now. Her coat was horrible and my husband used to say that she looked like a perm gone wrong.
