I had the same reservations. But if you put them "where" they are already used to going, you won't have any trouble. We also put them over the paper pad (with a bit of it sticking out) for a few days. They are wonderful. Getting near the edge of the paper (notorious Yorkie trick) is no longer a problem, because they are absorbant all the way to the edge. The prints are awesome and some are nearly impossible to see even see the stain on. They are so absorbant, that there are no more little footprints from stepping in the spot. Little Bit's quality is great. They are so nice, it was hard for me to let them pee on them at first.
We only use the disposable now for traveling.
