I'm so torn on what to do.....

My sweetie is due for her spaying around Christmas. My vet is available on the 20th to do the surgery. I'm nervous about doing her surgery so close to Christmas. Do you think she would feel better by then? Is 5 days enough to recover?

I would wait to do it, but I'm a full time student and this may be the only time I could be with her around the clock. Otherwise I'll have to wait until school starts up and she'll be alone during parts of the day.
