She looks so proud - and so she should be. Gymnastics is so much fun. It is good for these young kids. They learn sharing, disciplin, compassion, teamwork and, of course, showmanship
. Krysten was in it for several years when she was younger. Her 2 greatest moments was coming in 4th in the vault at the NYS Leatherstocking Meet with teams from all over the east. But, her absolute greatest memory was getting to meet, have lunch with and pictures taken with the 1996 Men's and Women's Olympic Gymnastics Teams. That was with Dominique Moceanu, Kerri Strugg, Amanda Borden, Amy Chow, Shannon Miller, Dominique Dawes and Jaycie Phelps. Then we got to watch the show they put on while on tour. She has autographs and lots of souveniers.
Tell you dtr that no matter how hard it gets, how much it hurts(as long as nothing is broken), no matter how much the coach yells and especially no matter how mad she gets, don't give up. Get mad, be stubborn and show the coach she can do it. Iit will make her a better gymnast in the end. 4 1st places - she's on her way to the top
