The owner of her sire, (a beautiful champion male) really was trying to coax me to breed her. (I bought her from the owner of the dam.) I came oh so close! But, the bottom line for me, was that my Sydney was my baby, and I knew I didn't want to risk her with a pregnancy, (the breeders here will tell you all the things than can, and often do, go wrong), and furthermore, I knew that I'd never be able to give up one of her babies. Not even to family or friends. I knew, if someone didn't treat one of her babies exactly as I wished, relationships would be destroyed.
That's just my perspective. I bought another Yorkie when Sydney was 2 & 1/2. Best decision for me, and for Sydney.
Good luck, let us know what you decide.
