I have had both as well, and my experiences were the same. The dye/radiation one, I could feel it burn all the way thru my body, it seemed. The tech said that I would, but I didn't know what to expect.
Also, I had just had my ears re-pierced and I had to take those out and my ponytail because of the metal....no one told me that before hand!
