a nip from a large lab could have killed an under 2 pound puppy cause it did. I am really not wanting to argue. I basically am now shunned because of something my dog did. Like i said, he was never, ever a harmful dog before. He had been socialized, he has been with other dogs. I have two children and he has never once hurt them or me or my husband. I do believe it was on her chest and/or back area. but like i said, a nip from a large dog is like a bite from a small one. he was not defensive. She was quite a nipper and chewed on him and so he nipped her back, it was one small snap. that is all it took. i am sorry for getting all you people mad and now hating me. I still want a yorkie, I've obviously learned my lesson, and if others can have large dogs and yorkies, then why can't i.
