 Puppy food question......dry or canned?
I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of this kind of puppy food. It is made by DHA Gold, Maxximum (that is how it was spelled on the bag) nutrition, puppy recipe, made with chicken, rice, and lamb. It says for growing puppies free of animal fat, animal by-products, No artifical colors, flavors, or preservatives. When I first bought him they had him on Puppy Chow, and I didn't like that because I have heard that it wasn't very good for them, but I kept him on it because that is what he was used to and I didn't want to upset his tummy or cause any eating problems but I found this food yesterday and I think I will try and switch him slowly to the new stuff. It sounds like it is a good food, I just wanted to get someone elses opinion on the idea and maybe see what kinds of food some of you use.. Dry or canned, and what brand. By the way this is a dry food.. I sometimes mix his food with a little bit of canned food. But, I will stop doing that until he gets used to this new food. I think if I change him slowly and gradually he will do okay with it... |
