I use Frontline for Heatworms and k9 Advatix for fleas, mosquitos and ticks. Well, I will give her heartwork year round. Since I will be leaving to the Dominican Republic with my baby for Christmas I already gave her the K9 Advantix for dogs under 10 lbs. and will give her another dose while we are out there. But once we come back I wont be using it until April or May. As your vet which medications work best for your pup. Good Luck!
