Cry

The Vet called yesterday while I was on my way up to NY. Turns out the cat was completely blind, and could no longer move her back legs. They think she had a spinal lesion as a result of an infectious disease, possibly rabies. The Vet immediately asked if she bit or scratched me, I told her 'no' and that I was very careful when I caught her with the towel and made sure she couldn't get me. She said the cat had a healthy appetite, but the food had to be moved towards her. Even though she was a stray, treatment for her issues would of been very costly and probably ineffective. Then she concluded she would be better off euthanised, since she wouldn't have a good quality of life. I agreed eventhough its not my cat I still felt sad. So they fed her one more good meal before they put her down. Overall its better that way since she doesn't have to suffer anymore.
