I don't know if it will help strengthen the coat, all I know is both my babies just love the petsilk products . . .I get the rainforest scent and everyone who smells them thinks they are sooo darn smelling good. I use the shampoo, conditioner, then the serun then finish it off with a rainforest cologne. I get mine from
