Schatzie is what I call "an agressive" chewer, she DESTROYS soft fuzzy toys. I have seen many types of those fillers used within these fun little toys for them. Annabelle, whom we had first has had all these toys around for years and has always played very gently with them. Well, here comes Schatzie, the absolute opposite. CHEW, RIP, and TOTALLY DESTROY!! So, we have had to buy many many toys to replace the damage that Schatzie has done to Annabelle's items.
Depending on the damage of the destroyed fuzzy toy I either cram the stuffing back in and sew it up, or throw it all away.
Schatzie is not really in the habit to say "eat the insides" of the toy, she just likes to destroy them. From what I can tell I have never seen her ingest (sp) any of the inside stuffings.
