Try looking in the for sale columns. Occasionally there are free dogs to dog homes, or dogs at very low prices. I've seem them as low as 300, so you wouldn't have that much more to come up with. I got my first yorkie here for 150, and he's the greatest. Best wishes with your search, and welcome to YT.
