Snickers is 7.5 months old and is already 8.5 lbs maybe more. I am so glad he is big. He was a gift and if I had to choose the breed at the time I would have never picked a Yorkie. I just thought they were way too small and fragile. I have a 3 girls under the age of 7 and a large Boxer full of energy, so I was afraid that a small dog would not work out. Snickers was 3 lbs at 8 weeks and gets bigger every month. I joke about how lucky I would be if he would reach 30 lbs without being fat, guess that would never happen. Anyway, Snickers is not fragile at all he is so sweet and such a strong little boy. I would love to have another yorkie only if I knew it would be another teapot.
