If your really concerned you would want to buy from breeders who DNA'd the mother and father as well, and could show you the papers. When I bred pits all of them were DNA tested, and we had papers to prove it. We also supplied all our new owners with everything they needed to DNA their babies, and left it up to them to chose to do it or not.
