Good idea to take him to the vet. We've had trouble in the past with our little Tara. She had a slight scratch on her cornea that I tried to treat at home as at first it didn't look like any big deal. Needless to say after a very short time we did take her to the doctor. The first ointment she gave made the matter worse. It was weekly visits for about 2 months to clear the whole thing up. Whew what a dilema. My vet said to never let any eye problem go because they get very bad quick with dogs. All is fine and well now but I learned a big lesson. Good Luck to you and your little guy.
