Today Maddie has not been herself AT ALL. It was bath day and she whined and acted up the WHOLE bath...usually she's the most well behaved. Then she had one random matt of hair on her back...go figure
...and I got out the dematting comb and fine tooth to start working on it. Well...every single time I went for her fur she would scream at me and try to bite...which is so strange...she always lets me brush her!!!
She's been eating fine and playing with the other dogs and her health appears to be normal...she decided she wasn't mad at me anymore a couple hours ago and she's been glued to my side ever since. If I sit down somewhere she whines and makes this little yelping noise until I pick her up and put her on my lap. She also won't listen to me at all, which is VERY unlike her. She purposely disobeys while looking RIGHT at me...
I have two thoughts...either she's getting ready to go into heat, or she's upset about baby Ryder getting lots of new attention. However, she certainly didn't act up when I got the two adult dogs (Brooklyn and Mikayla)...so this is strange...
She was also microchipped last week...is it possible that her back is sore where it was put in? Or does that usually not happen?
