 Looking for a puppy
Hi my name is Katie, and I have never owned a Yorkie before, but I have been doing some research on them for about four months now, and decided that they are the breed for me! I am interested in getting my new puppy sometime in May of 2008, and I live in Buffalo, NY. I have been having trouble finding a breeder in the area, and I definitely don't want to buy one from a pet store, so I guess my question is; if I have to travel a long distance to see the puppy that I am interested in(and that's fine with me)how am I going to be able to work with a breeder to decide what type of puppy I'm looking for (ie temperament, looks, personality, etc.), and pick out a puppy after only seeing and interacting with him once? If someone could maybe share how they did this I would really appreciate it, because I really want to get the puppy that is perfect for me!! |
