 house breaking
Got our Lola at 6 months and she had not been housebroken at all. We pad trained her with a lot of persistence. I stayed home for about a week straight and every hour or so put her on the pad and said go potty. When she finally went I praised her a gave her a treat. I kept putting her on the pad even though she kept getting off until she went. One time I even sat on a chair at the bathroom door (where we have the pads) and read a magazine until she went.
After she went she could play for a while and then back in the crate. It took about a week but she is totally trained now. Sometimes she misses the pads but it is always near the pad so think that is successful. Good luck to you. Now I have a lot of questions for the next step.
