I've been cautioned by family and friends, that most breeders and showers are snobby and rude. How do I get around that? What should I look for? Any help would be appreciated
Snobby and rude breeders are few and far between in my experience. My breeder was extremely helpful and sweet, though I have never pursued a show puppy as I am not interested in showing right now.

E-mail or call some of the breeders in your area asking about their breeding program. I think its safe to say that most breeders breed for themselves first and foremost if they want to finish a champion.

There are many experienced breeders on YorkieTalk who may be able to help you along a little better than I would.
