Well, a couple months ago, my Luna went in heat, and Don Juan went sooo crazy, they tied 3 times, and I started the count down for puppies... We started increasing her food, supplementing with concept a bitch, and some cottage cheese here and there... And, about 2 weeks ago, I was almost sure Luna was not pregnant, as she was not showing any symptoms... The only thing is that she started eating more (very unusual on her!), so I thought, well, maybe it is just one, and is little, and that's why she is not showing off.... One more week, no weight gain, and today, is supposed to be her due date... By now I am pretty sure she is not pregnant, as there is no weight gain or body changes I cannot attach to her increased appetite... And today, Don Juan is playing the "hot dog" again!!!!!!!!!!
I noticed a couple days ago he was sniffing her very insistently... but today is like he really wants to mount her, and she is not very convinced, but is almost allowing him to do so... I have to think... Split heat??? Have no experience in this, so please help me!!!!!! I have all my whelping supplies, nesting box and everything, and no pups, (which is OK, I got everything just in case), but now this??????????
