I'm just seeing this today but wanted to extend my sympathies. I'm so glad you have the new baby to fill the void left behind. I know exactly how you feel..... I've always been a "one inside dog at a time" kind of person and it broke my heart to have to put down our 15 year old toy poodle several years ago. We got Tatum just a short couple weeks later and she helped us heal so much quicker. Welcome to the new baby!
We also have coyotes nearby but they got so close to the house the other night that it scared me. I hate that these things get so brave.
