[Deegan's mom]

So I enrolled Deegan in his Puppy Head Start Class today and I go this week, but Deegan doesn't go until the week after.
He will be 16 weeks by the time he starts class and I didn't realize that I could have signed him up sooner. I had assumed that they needed all 3 set of shots before they could be with other dogs, but with this puppy class you only have to have the first two sets seeing how all the dogs are to young to get the rabies... it's not needed.
But the lady told me that the prime learning stage was between 12-16 weeks. I hope that I didn't not register too late and have Deegan total rebel at what we are going to learn. What do you think? Has anyone ever taken their puppy to class after their 16th week? And how well did they do?

Another concern I have is that he is soooo hyper! I mean he is full of piss and vinegar all the time!!! I let him play with my girlfriends ****zu who is three weeks younger than him and he clobbers her - the poor baby girl. So then I have to take him away because he is too rough. Do you think that he will be too hyper and excited to concentrate and learn???
