Thank God you live in a neighborhood that CARES! In a lot of places that little girl would have been gone, because no one would have cared or tried to stop the man from taking her.
I see so many children not being looked after in this area. People will drop their little ones off at Blockbuster and pick them up later. I worked at Cracker Barrel and people let their little ones loose in the gift shop while they are eating. It always scares me because you never know who's around and your children are the most precious things in the world, why would anyone take that chance with them.
Thanks for telling, it never hurts to be reminded that children are vunerable and there's no safe place for them to be alone. |
