Most vets don't pay attention to the fact that u/d contains pork liver, but it is very, very high in purines and actually not good for dogs who are forming ammonium urate stones due to liver problems. Also, the vet may try to say "but the u/d is lower in protein"
While this is true, it's the wrong KIND of protein and it's also very high in fat.
