Oh wow... Im so sorry this happened! That poor child! Luckily that neighbor saw and was brave enough to step in the road in front of the car. He really saved that child!!!
I live in a condo (townhouse) complex with about 300+ townhouses, same thing, we are a little community, everyone watches out for everyone and we all are very friendly to each other, doing favors and stuff.
Last week when I got home there was a notice on my door was the condo association. A little boy of about 11 years old was walking through the grass from one branch of the condos to another, when a suped up decked out car with 3 boys in it (age 17 - 20) came over and one got out and attacked this little boy, beat him up and then they drove off.
WHO would do that???? This world makes me so sad sometimes! The police sent a notice to everyone to report the car if they see it again in the neighborhood or if they recognize who the kids were to call the police. Its just so sad!
