debarking is cruel no matter which way you slice it. i compare it to declawing. both are not necessary procedures. neither lengthen the pets lives or helps prevent disease (like S/N does). both of these procedures are usually done to appease the owner. dog doesn't shup up - debark it. cat claw furniture - declaw it. not nice in either case. why get an animal if you are going to do something like this to it. dogs bark, cats claw. its natural. you can train them not to do either of these things, i dont' care what that first sight posted said.

i wasn't going to say anything about your reasons for selling but since it was brought up, i don't see how you can sell your favorite girl. And your selling her as a 'good producer' and a ' valuable breeding dog'. just doesn't seem right. she's already been rehomed once. why not spay her and keep her? or spay her and find her a new home?
