If you are having a problem with mats, you probably aren't getting all the way down to his skin. After you brush him, go through his coat with a comb to make sure you got all the mats out. I love the Chris Christensen Buttercombs.
I've got the CC Gold series brush and Fusion brush. I was very disappointed with the Fusion brush, especially for the price. I love my Gold brush, but the gold wears off and again, for that price, it shouldn't.
I've just ordered a Madan pin brush so I'll let you know how I like it. I guess they are mainly sold at shows, but they've gotten rave reviews on the Maltese forum I belong to. They are much cheaper, too, under $20. |
