 Day 5 with new puppy-jealous Pippa coming around
Just an update on my little jealous Yorkie girl Pippa. She was mad at me for getting a little boy Yorkie Friday night-lots of pouting and withholding love from me. Anyway, last night I told the family to put the puppy in the playpen before I came in so I could greet Pippa normally without her having to share greeting with Scout. She ate it up, and gave me kisses and let me hold her! Yayyy. This morning, I let her out first (she sleeps with my daughter) and left Scout in bed with my husband. She did her little morning routine and then started looking for Scout. She played with him well this morning and even got up into my lap when I was holding him! She hasn't sat in my lap for 4 days!! So, I think things are looking up-I'll keep everyone posted-especially those of you considering adding a new little one to your mix. |
