The video is pretty gross. Bottom line, you DO NOT want to use the hotel provided drinking glasses. That would include major hotel chains.
BTW - a while back now, we saw a news story on how unclean hotel rooms truly are. To drive home the point, they used an ultraviolet light to find ..... a substance. EVERYTHING in the hotel room glowed - even the telephone!
