ZoeyBear, you must have went by Gorman, when they get it we get it. When that area gets too much or icey they generally close down by Gorman as Debi mentioned they did close down the grape vine last night (Debi, I can never figure out why they call it the grape vine, do you know why? There is no grape orchards there ) , when the hi way patrol deems it safe they usually escort the vehicles on through, have you ever experienced that yet ZoeyBear? No fun when that happens folks just get stranded. Connie LOL, yeppers I seem to be drinking tons of hot chocolate lately the nights have been getting quite cold here, such a difference from day temperatures to the night time.
To be prepared for electrical outages I told Jack I think we will get a pup tent and set it up in the living room during those times. He, I and the girls can snuggle up in it to stay warm LOL. Can't you just picture that Connie oh my gosh, I think the hot chocolate is getting to me
We have the battery lanterns for emergency use. Those have really came in handy through the years, we wouldn't be without those. Thanks everyone for the information on the silicon spray I shall get some today. The good news is that the snow quit then we had down pour of rain, the sun came out this morning, however, forecast is more to come, so they are predicting. Lot of times their wrong.
I hope we don't get kicked off the internet and dish tv but if that happens we have the girls to keep entertaining us. Especially Dollie Dae and Prairie Bea, they are both little spit fires, as Maddie's Mommie Denise would say LOL.
Hugs from us melted snow balls, Patti and Jack |
