Default Rudolph/Reindeer Cookies ???

I recently went to a cookie walk - and one of the cookies I picked up was what I'm going to call Rudolph Cookies - I'm trying to figure out how to make them. Anyone know about these or something similar??

The cookie part was pretty small - not sure exactly what the dough was - I'm thinking a chocolate chip dough without the choc. chips added or even a sugar cookie dough would work.

Then the decorating part - there were 2 tiny chocolate chips ( I think turned upside down - point down) for the eyes and a red M & M for the nose - this was the traditional ones, but I'm thinking the new mint M & M's would be good too. Then the traditional pretzel shape pretzels were used - like broken in 2 for the antlers.

I would like to make these, but don't know at what point to add the extras -- do you think the dough should bake for a bit before adding the decorations or maybe bake all the way and immediately when removing the cookies are removed and still soft - then apply the face & antlers?? (ok, as I'm typing this that actually makes the most sense.)

Anyone make these?? Have a recipe to share?

I thought these would be fun to send off to my daughter at college to share with her friends.

Got some great cookies at the cookie walk - wish several of them came with recipes though!!!
