Is he eating the canned U/D or the dry?? Please give him canned, not the dry if at all possible. Also, if I were you, I would ask for the L/D instead of the U/D because U/D contains pork liver which is one of the worst foods for liver compromised dogs and will overwork his liver. Overworking the liver will in turn cause more stones, so I would recommend you ask the vet for L/D.
