Sorry you are lonely and have trouble with your MIL. I had a hard time with mine for many years - she kept egging my hubby into divorcing me. But in the end we were good friends, and I had the honor of sitting with her the last night of her life while her 4 sons slept. I wouldn't trade that for anything, I just started loving her regardless of how she felt because she was the mother of the one I loved, and told her so every chance I got. One day she broke down and told me she loved me too because no matter how nasty she got to me I never stopped telling her that I loved her.
Just think of how great it's gonna be when he gets back - another honeymoon is in store. We appreciate each other more when we are deprived of time together!
