I know alot of you on here have read "Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats"...I am a little confused about something.
As you know his book starts off by telling a story of a couple who brings in a dog with severe allergy problems, scratching like crazy, hair falling out, foul skin odor, etc. They had exhaused all avenues concerning prescription drugs and decided to take a nutritional approach, anyway the couple follows his plan and the dog ends up 100% better.
In his book he instructs the use of his "Healthy Powder" which I have read on YT that some of you use it as I do also. One of the ingredients is
1 cup of lecithin.
Well the confusion comes here, as I was reading my Modern Dog magazine last night I cam upon the "Solid Gold" add and it states
"Solid Gold never uses soybean (also known as lecithin), wheat, or corn, which causes allergies in dogs."
My Kylie has allergy problems as it is, so should I not use the "Healthy Powder" in her food? I am so confused.
