My friend called me last night after she got home from work to find that someone broke in and took her baby toby. He was about 3lbs and 10 months and her life. We figured it was someone who knew her, she lives out in the country, and her babies don't go outside, but she travels around with the little one, visiting nursing homes and such. We're not sure if the person or people targeted just toby or couldn't find the others. Toby stays in a playpen when she's gone and the others are running around, Well she got home last night and toby was gone (has never been able to get out before) the rest of the babies were hiding under a bed, she has a silkie that has 3wk old babies, this mom has never even tried to moved them before but my friend found the pups under her bed. She is so upset, her husband is in Iraq and she kept putting off taking out the window air units, well that's where they broke in at, she found the unit on the floor and the window wide open. I'm so upset for her.
