This is when I would have to default to the experts not the derranged individual (shall I say two or three derranged individuals with hidden identities and agendas) that can cut and paste an answer without any breeding experience, on another board...using my "Miracle" as a tool in their games.

I would go along with the fertility specialist too. I wasn't doubting your decision. I've honestly never heard or seen a babies eyes pried open. I figured it they were closed then it was for a good reason like the eyeball not being developed enough. When you go to the specialist please let us know what she says about this procedure. I think its very interesting and i'm sure it would be valuable knowledge to others if this ever happens to one of them.
