This is absolutely beautiful idea.

Also another suggestion:

Make up one little box with slit on top, tablet attatched with pencil, so they can jot down all the many wonderful things happening in their daily life, place that in the box.

Make up a second little box with slit on top, tablet attatched with pencil so they can jot down all that which are not so good happenings ( Besure to leave the bottom open so everything falls out when the box is lifted.)

Following instructions:
At the end of each week to open one box and it will be a reminder
of all their many blessings.

The second box will be empty, therefore letting them know all their woes are no longer their woes but God is taking care of them.

I know they will be happy with whatever you do. If it was me just a GREAT BIG HUG WOULD DO Jack says him too
