I would def NOT do that especially if you made him cry - there's other options and it's up to us to control our anger - being physical with a dog is never the way to go and won't help training at all - Poor guy - The sound of your voice sometimes is plenty to show them what they did is a no-no -
If you have young puppies - you should already know accidents happen - and also - even though I never crate trained - if you use the crates for sleeping and a safe zone - you shouldn't punish them by putting them in a crate -
