I live in apartments. So there's no fences here except behind us to block us from the next road with houses. I use the flexi standard leash and a harness. It's the rules anyway they can't be off leash. Cody has escaped out the front door a few times. gave me a scare. and you know how fast they run.. so yeah always a harness and leash for mister cody james
