Default First time being bred question

A friend just called me asking me about her female. She's 2, and this is her 1st time being bred with a proven stud.

She's only put the 2 together 2 times, she's flagging and letting her male mount but she said that when her male begins pentration her girl yipes (she described it sounding like as though she stepped on her foot!) and she hasn't held her down because she doesn't want to hurt her.

She is asking my advice but I've never had this happen. My 1st timers have never yelped like this.

Oh and after the yelp it scares her male so he gets off her, and she runs, but still runs back to him but is a little timid when he trys to remount.

Anyone ever have this and what should she do? I had no suggestions for her but to hold her down?
