Erin I think that is good advise. I'm in a pretty secure area and I don't use a leash with Crystal and it has worked for much of her 13 yrs but you have to know your dog and how well trained they are. I would never go near traffic with my yorkie without a leash. Young dogs like to chase rabbits etc but that one word 'stay' if you can get it through there head when they dart out the door when they should not is worth it's weight in gold. |
