 Elizabethan Collar
Jesse was neutered today. Poor thing. He went through a lot. Neutering, ear treatment, teeth cleaning, vaccines.
He's doing well. Drugged up on painkillers and napping in between me and my boyfriend on the couch.
The only problem is that he is so sad with the Elizabethan Collar on. He's afraid of it and keeps backing up as though he thinks he stuck his head through something and backing up will free him. It's actually quite cute.
The vet said to keep it on for two days, give or take. He said that I could take it off earlier and see how Jesse does. If he nips at his stitches it has to go back on.
How long did you leave the collar on after neutering? Did it make your dog miserable? Did you give him breaks from it?
