the aggressiveness might be because he is in a small space and scared of the huge human hands reaching out for him OR he could not want you to touch him because he is in his chosen spot and doesn't want to move. In the latter case, he is trying to be the dominant one and you should not allow this. If you can block off his access to these things. Easy way to solve the problem is not let it happen at all.
