All three dogs are male, all neutered. He doesn't get along with the other two very well, even though they approach him to play. He grumbles at them and shoos them off. He loves people, sits on your lap and licks you half to death.....EXCEPT, if he is under the sofa or bed, then he is soooo aggressive and bites and snaps. the aggressiveness might be because he is in a small space and scared of the huge human hands reaching out for him OR he could not want you to touch him because he is in his chosen spot and doesn't want to move. In the latter case, he is trying to be the dominant one and you should not allow this. If you can block off his access to these things. Easy way to solve the problem is not let it happen at all.
