My Kalani's ears went up and down a LOT when he was teething - I never knew what he'd look like each morning when we woke up - LOL! I never had to do the taping thing but I always kept the hair trimmed and after he stopped teething his ears both went up and have been up ever since
My Hoku on the other hand has floppy ears and even though I tried every trick in the book I could never get them to stand up
