Well as long as they handled the milk I don't think it would hurt... Any food that you could get at a grocery store is probably not a good choice. There are a few foods that Petco and Petsmart carry like Natural Balance and Solid Gold that are higher quality. To get a really good food you would have to order online or go to a small petstore chain (like Pet Supplies Plus).
I highly recommend only feeding canned because it is much less processed and the moisture amount is good. It could get very expensive though. Some good brands are Innova, Evo (grainless), Canidae and Evangers.
If you want to go kibble some brands people here feed are Innova, Canidae, Wellness, Natural Balance and Orijen (grainless, very high in protein).
