I took him to the groomers (mainly to get him use to being groomed) she shoved his ears so far down. The ears would stand sometimes and sometimes they wouldn't. (After being shaved). I have read on YT about taping the ears, I have done that they stand for awhile and then they flop. I have noticed that lately they are flopping more than they are standing. My question is should I continue to tape and shave or does this seem like a normal thing and eventally the ears will stand? I will love him regardless of wheather the ears stand or not, but if I have a choice I prefer the ears standing. Has anyone else experienced this with their yorkie? |
The ears will sometimes go down when they teeth. It has never happened to me with any of mine and I am not sure if you should tape or not, probably would not hurt but I would not doubt if they will stand up on their own when ready.
