It definitely shows all sides of the issue. I never heard about Shac or Alf either before the movie. I felt really confused during the movie because I realized I couldn't take a definitive side and that all the groups had something positive and negative about them. The groups also changed throughout time so in the beginning they did do more positive things and then it spiraled it seemed like.
In the movie it also was showing the difference between animal rights and animal welfare which I never even thought how different they are.
It was so much to think about. I'm still not even sure how I feel about all that I saw.
